We welcome volunteers interested in improving and developing the GEM model.
Improvements and developments may include:
- Addition of new physics packages for various physical processes.
- Develop/enhance new visualization capabilities
- Model initialization using different analyses (e.g., GFS)
- Bug reports & fixes.
GEM model forecast performance:
- Statistics of model performance,
- Timings of operational runs using different configurations of model on various HPC platforms.
